Consequences
Released on February 7th, 2023, Consequences serves as the second chapter in the catalog, expanding the sonic universe beyond traditional heartbreak and diving into the raw aftermath of emotional damage. Where Prisoners established a stance of initial resilience, this track explores the quiet toll of trauma, unresolved grief, and coping mechanisms when everything unravels.
From a production standpoint, the arrangement marks an intentional shift toward atmospheric soundscapes, dense textures, and vocal manipulation. Instead of relying on standard harmonic backing, the track introduces pitch-shifted lower vocals and heavily processed layers designed to act as internal echoes—reflecting a fractured mental state rather than simple vocal doubling. The instrumentation builds through a continuous crescendo, transforming tight, intimate verses into an overwhelming wall of sound.
Lyrically, Consequences addresses the public expectation to move on and pretend everything is fine. Lines like "Now we pretend that we're fine, it's okay... But no one told me about these consequences" challenge the facade of recovery.
The recurring motif "c'mon break my heart" returns here with an added layer of defiance. Re-framed as a direct challenge, the chorus functions as a final ultimatum to the other person—demanding an absolute end rather than lingering in uncertainty. Consequences remains one of the rawest explorations of personal limits within this early era.

Losing my breath Pills on my hand Laying on tears Voices in my head It's not fair
Running around Down on my knees Hiding the face Cover my eyes Don't cry
You said to me That was enough But what if it is not You run away and let me fall I can't believe That was all
If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart
Now we pretend that we're fine, it's okay And we need to move on, we need to forget But no one told me about these consequences (You've got it) Now I'm just killing the time, breaking my mind Finding a place to lie to myself It is time, It is time
If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart (C'mon break my heart, c'mon break my heart) If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart (C'mon break my heart, c'mon break my heart) If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart If you can't decide, c'mon break my heart If you want to fight, c'mon break my heart If you can't deny it, c'mon break my heart C'mon break my heart, c'mon break my heart
